I wasn’t comfortable at my previous gym. I almost felt awkward: there was no space, people next to me were grunting, ugh. Now I feel comfortable, I have space. I like to work out 5 times a week, and now I do!
I would like other people to know it’s never too late! I work out with a trainer and I follow a sensible, healthy eating plan. My hard work has paid off. I can do things I couldn’t do before. I no longer struggle to climb stairs, I have more energy, and I feel great! I never thought that at 76 years old I would see such a difference. Thank you, Shapes!

I am so thankful for Shapes! I always feel amazing walking out of there after a workout. Gail and all the trainers and class instructors are so encouraging and helpful. They make you feel comfortable no matter what your level of fitness is. I highly recommend Shapes to any woman!

The great thing about Shapes is that the staff realizes that everybody’s awesome is different and distinctly their own.
They just helped me celebrate my 90th birthday. A finer group of management, instructors, and classmates cannot be found. Not only are the classes a good workout they are actually fun and everyone is super friendly. Thanks again everyone for the great celebration!
I stumbled into Shapes after going to a nearby business. Since moving to Sarasota I’ve gone to both LA Fitness and Crunch on University Parkway. Shapes has something neither offered: a truly woman-center program.
Gail and her team in their pink t-shirts make sure you are comfortable and are getting the workout you need and want.
I’ve signed up for a weekly session with Suzanne and it has been the best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time.
